Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- 8 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and add sugar. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. Stir in salt, olive oil, and yogurt into the yeast mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add all-purpose flour to the mixture, kneading until the dough is soft and elastic, about 5-10 minutes.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
5. Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll them into round breads.
6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the naan breads on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Brush the finished naan with butter or olive oil and serve warm.
