- 600 g pork chops, cut into pieces
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 dl chicken broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. Cut the pork chops into suitable pieces.
2. Peel and slice the onions.
3. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the pork pieces and sear until golden brown.
4. Add the sliced onions to the pot and continue cooking until the onions are soft.
5. Stir in the basil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
6. Pour the chicken broth over the mixture and bring to a boil.
7. Reduce the heat and let the stew simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes, until the meat is cooked and tender.
8. Serve warm, alongside potatoes or rice.
