A velvety and smooth treat perfect for the ambiance of autumn and Christmas. This recipe takes a bit of time and effort, but the end result is definitely worth it!
Preparation Time: 1 hour + 1 hour baking time
Serving Size: 8-10 servings

Ingredients:

- 2.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 dl butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 1.5 dl pumpkin puree (fresh or canned)
- 1.5 dl cream
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the softened butter and mix until smooth. Incorporate one egg and mix well.
3. Press the dough into a pie dish and pre-bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla extract, and the two eggs. Mix until smooth.
5. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust.
6. Bake the pie in the oven for about 45-50 minutes, until the filling is set and the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Let the pie cool before serving.
Enjoy the pumpkin pie with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
