Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the skillet and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
