Ingredients:
- 200 g bacon
- 400 g pumpkin (diced)
- 1 dl cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 dl grated cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Add the minced garlic and cook for one more minute.
3. Stir in the diced pumpkin and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the cream, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Mix in the grated cheese.
5. Spread the bacon and pumpkin mixture evenly over the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
6. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the pie is golden brown.
7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
