Serving Size: 12 muffins
Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 0.5 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 100 g chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for fan oven).
2. Grease the muffin tin or use paper muffin liners.
3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla sugar until combined.
5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Divide the batter evenly into the muffin cups.
8. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the muffins are cooked through and have a beautiful color on top.
9. Allow the muffins to cool for a moment before serving.
