Ingredients:
- 1 ready-made pie crust
- 200 g bacon
- 400 g pumpkin (diced)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 eggs
- 2 dl cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 100 g cheese (grated)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and diced pumpkin until soft.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
5. Add the cooked bacon, onion, and pumpkin to the egg mixture. Stir well to combine.
6. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the pie is golden brown and the filling is set.
8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
