Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Cut the chicken breast into strips. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the chicken strips until golden brown.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for another minute.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese melts. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Combine the pasta with the sauce. Add a little reserved cooking water if the sauce is too thick.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
