A delicious and low-carb alternative to potatoes. These festive sides are easy to make and taste great for both everyday and special occasions. Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 medium cauliflower - 2 eggs
- 50 g butter
- 50 g cheese (e.g., Parmesan or Cheddar)
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for about 10-15 minutes until tender. 2. Drain the cauliflower well and mash it into a smooth puree.
3. Add melted butter, cheese, eggs, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the cauliflower mash. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
4. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle. Pipe rosettes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or spoon the mixture directly onto the paper.
5. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes until the tops are beautifully golden brown.
6. Serve warm.
