A delightful autumn apple pie made with domestic Lobo apples, perfect for fall gatherings.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8 servings

Ingredients:

- 6-8 Lobo apples
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 package ready-made pie crust
- 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions:

1. Peel and slice the Lobo apples.
2. In a large bowl, mix the apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
3. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a greased pie dish.
4. Pour the apple mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.
5. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
6. Roll out a second pie crust and place it over the apples. You can cut slits in the crust for decoration.
7. Brush the top crust with the beaten egg.
8. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before serving.
