Seafood Platter Surf n Turf with Skipper Dip

A delightful seafood platter combining sautéed squid, shrimp, and crispy bacon, served with warm Skipper cheese dip. A perfect street food-style meal that seafood lovers will enjoy! Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 500 g frozen seafood (peeled shrimp, cleaned squid)- 170 g bacon
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 red chili
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Juice of half a lime
- Salt (to taste)
Skipper Dip:
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 100 g Skipper cheese
Instructions:
1. Thaw the seafood slowly in the refrigerator for about 24 hours. Drain and pat dry the thawed seafood well.2. Preheat the oven to 225°C (437°F). Spread the bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until crispy. Let cool slightly and cut the bacon into thin strips.
3. Slice the chili and finely chop the garlic. Remove the tentacles from the squid and cut the rest into rings about one centimeter wide.
4. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the oil, chili, and garlic, then add the squid. Sauté for 3-5 minutes.
5. Add the sugar and shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about one more minute or until the shrimp turn pink. Remove from heat and squeeze lime juice over the seafood. Add the bacon strips and serve immediately.
6. Prepare the Skipper dip by heating the cream in a small saucepan until it boils. Trim the edges of the Skipper cheese and cut it into thin strips. Add the cheese to the hot cream and stir until the cheese has completely melted.
