Savoy Cabbage Rolls with Pork Mince and Shrimp

A delightful dish combining savoy cabbage, minced pork, and shrimp with Asian spices. A perfect meal to add variety to your weeknight dinners! Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 large savoy cabbage - 400 g minced pork
- 200 g shrimp (peeled)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 1 tsp chili (preferably fresh or powdered)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Boil the savoy cabbage leaves in salted water for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Drain and cool. 2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the sesame oil. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing for a few minutes.
3. Add the minced pork to the pan and cook until browned. Season with soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, chili, salt, and pepper.
4. Mix in the shrimp with the pork and cook for an additional couple of minutes until the shrimp are cooked through.
5. Take one cabbage leaf at a time and place 1-2 tablespoons of the filling in the center. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly into a wrap.
6. Place the rolls in a baking dish, adding a little water to the bottom if desired during cooking.
7. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes.
8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh coriander.
