Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 250 g smoked ham, sliced
- 1 packet of bacon
- 2 onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 dl cream
- 3 dl milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet, add the onions and garlic, and sauté until soft.
4. Add the smoked ham and bacon to the skillet, cooking until the bacon is crispy.
5. Grease a baking dish and layer the potato slices evenly in the dish.
6. Spread the ham and bacon mixture over the layer of potatoes.
7. Pour the cream and milk over the layers, seasoning with salt and pepper.
8. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 40-50 minutes.
9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
10. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
