A rich and flavorful sauce perfect for pasta, rice, or meat. Preparation time is approximately 20 minutes, serving size is for 4.Ingredients:
- 250 g mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 3 minutes until softened.
3. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and vegetable broth. Mix well and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm and garnish with fresh parsley.
