A delicious and refreshing alternative to traditional pasha, perfect for Easter celebrations. This recipe is easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. Preparation Time: 1 day (for refrigeration)
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 5 gelatin leaves - 400 g quark cheese
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 200 ml vanilla sauce
- 50 g almond flakes
- 50 g raisins
- 100 ml lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water for about 5 minutes to soften.2. In a bowl, mix the quark cheese with sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest.
3. Whip the vanilla sauce until stiff peaks form and fold it into the quark mixture.
4. Add the almond flakes and raisins to the quark mixture and stir well.
5. Squeeze excess water from the gelatin leaves. Heat the lemon juice and dissolve the gelatin leaves in the warm juice.
6. Gradually add the gelatin mixture to the other ingredients while stirring continuously.
7. Pour the mixture into a mold lined with a damp cheesecloth, a strainer, a coffee filter, or a clean flower pot. Fold the cheesecloth over the top of the mixture.
8. Place the mold in a bowl with high sides and let the pasha set in the refrigerator for about 24 hours.
9. Unwrap the cheesecloth from the top and carefully invert the pasha onto a serving dish. Remove the mold and cheesecloth gently.
10. Decorate with Easter candies before serving.
