A traditional and delicious Easter dessert loved by all. This rich pasha is the perfect treat for Easter dinner or any occasion.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes + chilling time
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g curd cheese
- 200 g sour cream
- 150 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl raisins
- 1 dl nuts (e.g., walnuts)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
- 1/2 dl rum or orange juice
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and let it cool.
2. In a large bowl, mix the curd cheese, sour cream, and sugar.
3. Add the cooled butter, milk, raisins, nuts, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, orange zest, and rum or orange juice. Mix well.
4. Lightly grease a pasha mold or dish and pour the mixture into it.
5. Cover the mold with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
6. Unmold the pasha onto a serving plate and, if desired, decorate with berries or chocolate shavings before serving.
