Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or tagliatelle)
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
4. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and gently mix to coat the pasta with the sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
7. Serve the portions garnished with fresh basil.
