Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or spaghetti)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, sautéing until soft.
4. Add the chicken fillet pieces to the skillet and cook until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the skillet, mix well, and let simmer for a few minutes on low heat.
6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
