Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats - 2 cups water
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or other herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and crush the garlic clove.2. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat and add the crushed garlic. Sauté the garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
3. Add the rolled oats to the pot and mix well.
4. Pour in the water and add salt. Stir the ingredients together.
5. Cook the porridge over low heat for about 5-10 minutes, or until it reaches your desired consistency. Stir occasionally.
6. Season with black pepper and serve hot. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
