Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 400 g chicken fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the pasta water. 2. Cut the chicken fillets into strips. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute.
5. Pour the cooking cream into the skillet and stir well. Let simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
