A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in red pepper flakes and cook for an additional minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the garlic oil.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
8. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
9. Serve immediately, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
