Cranberry No-Knead Bread
recipe
A simple and trendy treat that delights with its sweet cranberry flavor and crispy crust. Though the dough takes time to rise, the final result is worth the effort. Preparation Time: 12 hours + 1 hour baking time
Serving Size: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour - 400 ml water
- 10 g salt
- 5 g dry yeast
- 200 g cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, salt, and dry yeast. 2. Add the water and stir until a smooth dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky.
3. Gently fold in the cranberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise at room temperature for about 12 hours.
5. Once risen, transfer the dough to a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
6. Place the loaf in a baking dish lined with parchment paper and let it rise for another hour.
7. Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
8. Bake the bread in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
9. Allow the bread to cool for a few moments before slicing.
