Delicious and soft pastries perfect for breakfast or a snack. These buns are easy to make and add a sweet touch to your day. Preparation Time: 1 hour (including rising)
Serving Size: 12 buns
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 cup milk
- 0.9 oz fresh yeast
- 0.4 cup sugar
- 0.2 cup oil or melted butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3.5 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the fresh yeast in warm milk. 2. Add sugar, salt, and oil. Mix well.
3. Gradually add flour to the mixture and knead until the dough is elastic.
4. Incorporate the chocolate pieces into the dough and mix.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
6. Once the dough has risen, divide it into 12 pieces and shape into buns.
7. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 15-20 minutes.
8. Brush the buns with beaten egg.
9. Bake at 440°F for about 15-20 minutes or until the buns are beautifully golden brown.
10. Allow to cool before serving.
