Ingredients:
- 2 dl whole grain rice
- 6 dl water
- 1 tsp salt (optional)
Instructions:
1. Rinse the whole grain rice under running water until the water runs clear.
2. Pour the rice into a pot and add the water and salt.
3. Heat the mixture until it reaches a boil.
4. Reduce the heat and cover the pot with a lid. Let the rice simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
5. Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice rest, covered, for about 10 minutes before serving.
