Ingredients:
- 500 g vendace - 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 dl oil for frying
- 200 g sour cream
- 100 g caviar paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions:
1. Rinse the vendace under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. 2. In a plate, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
3. Coat the vendace in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully covered.
4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
5. Fry the vendace in the pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy. Transfer them to paper towels to drain excess oil.
6. In a bowl, combine the sour cream, caviar paste, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve the vendace warm with the caviar sauce and garnish with fresh dill.
