A delicious seafood stew that combines fish and shellfish for a flavorful dish, perfect for summer evenings or special occasions. Preparation Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 leek (remove dark green part, halve lengthwise, and rinse)
- 1 white fish fillet (e.g., cod)
- 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 10 whole black peppercorns
- 1 carrot (chopped)
- 2 dl sour cream
- 2 trout fillets
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 3 tbsp cognac or brandy
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and leek. Sauté until soft.
2. Add crushed garlic and carrot pieces. Continue sautéing for a few minutes.
3. Add the fish fillets and trout pieces into the pot. Season with black peppercorns.
4. Pour cognac or brandy over the mixture and let it evaporate for a few minutes.
5. Stir in sour cream and mix well. Allow the stew to simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
6. Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
