A delicious Chinese rice dish that combines sweet and savory flavors, perfect as a dessert or sweet side.

Ingredients:

- 12 dried Chinese dates
- 40 g dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 8 dried longan
- 8 whole almonds
- 8 cocktail cherries
- 200 g adzuki beans
- 16 ginkgo nuts
- 100 g sugar
- 250 g glutinous sticky rice
- Lard or butter

Instructions:

1. Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the adzuki beans until soft and drain.
3. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the soaked rice and stir-fry for a few minutes.
4. Stir in the cooked adzuki beans, dark brown sugar, ginkgo nuts, dried longan, almonds, cocktail cherries, and Chinese dates. Mix well.
5. Add lard or butter to the mixture if needed and stir to combine.
6. Pour the mixture into a serving dish lined with parchment paper and smooth the top.
7. Cover the dish with foil and steam on high heat for about 30-40 minutes.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Cut into pieces and enjoy!
