Ingredients:
- 300 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Clean the mushrooms and slice them.2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat the butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the onions to the skillet and sauté for about 3-5 minutes until soft.
5. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
6. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute.
7. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
8. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper. You can also add chopped parsley for garnish.
9. Serve warm with pasta, rice, or potatoes.
