Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 200 g cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella), grated
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Slice the chicken breast into strips.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add the onion. Sauté until softened.
4. Add the crushed garlic and chicken strips to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked.
5. Pour the cream into the skillet and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the grated cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is creamy.
7. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
