A delicious and hearty dish that comes together quickly, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
2. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.
3. Peel and chop the onion and garlic cloves.
4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
5. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
6. Pour in the cream and add the Parmesan cheese to the pan, stirring well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
8. Serve in bowls and garnish with fresh basil.
