A delicious ground beef pasta bake that combines pasta, ground meat, and vegetables into a filling meal perfect for the whole family. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 100 g light shredded cheese
- 2 onions
- 500 g ground beef (chuck)
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- pinch of black pepper
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 250 g macaroni
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for greasing too)
Instructions:
1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Peel and chop the onions and garlic cloves.
3. Rinse the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and slice it.
4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
6. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
7. Season the mixture with paprika powder, salt, and black pepper.
8. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and sliced bell pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
9. Combine the cooked macaroni and ground beef mixture.
10. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
11. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
