A delightful soft Italian bread that is well worth the effort. Enjoy it on its own or add grapes for extra flavor.
Preparation Time: 3 hours (including rising)
Serving Size: 1 loaf

Ingredients:

- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 300 ml warm water
- 10 g salt
- 7 g dry yeast
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- (optional) 100 g grapes

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the dry yeast and warm water, and let it sit for about 10 minutes until it starts to foam.
2. Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture. Mix well until the dough starts to form.
3. Incorporate the olive oil and knead the dough by hand or in a dough mixer for about 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
5. If using grapes, rinse and cut them in half. Gently fold them into the dough.
6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let it rise for an additional 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Bake the bread for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and sounding hollow when tapped on the bottom.
8. Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before serving.
