A delicious Italian-style apple tart perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.

Ingredients
- 125 g margarine
- 3/4 dl sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Filling
- 1 kg tart apples
- 1 dl sugar (optional, to taste)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, cream together margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the creamed mixture. Mix until smooth.
3. Spread the dough evenly into a greased pie dish.
4. Peel and slice the apples. Arrange the apple slices on top of the dough.
5. Sprinkle the apples with sugar and cinnamon, if using.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C (350 °F) for about 30-40 minutes or until the tart is golden brown.
7. Allow to cool before serving.
