A deliciously moist cake featuring layers of tender apples and a crispy almond topping. Perfect for dessert or an afternoon snack. Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 dl sugar
- 0.5 dl cream
- 100 g melted butter
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3-4 apples (sliced)
- 1 dl almond flakes (for topping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the cream and melted butter to the mixture and combine well.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gradually add it to the batter. Stir until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish.
6. Arrange the apple slices on top of the batter.
7. Sprinkle almond flakes over the apple slices.
8. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
