Delicious cheese and herb bread perfect for snacking or as a side dish. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 3.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 2 dl grated cheese
- About 2 tbsp fresh herbs, chopped (such as parsley, thyme, and rosemary)
- 50 g melted butter
- 2 tsp honey
- 2.5 dl cold milk
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Grate the cheese and chop the herbs. Add the grated cheese and chopped herbs to the flour mixture.
3. Pour in the melted butter, honey, and cold milk into the mixture.
4. Stir all the ingredients quickly until a smooth dough forms; do not knead.
5. Divide the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper into six portions and flatten them into bread shapes.
6. Bake the breads in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) for about 10 minutes, or until they are beautifully golden brown.
7. Serve warm, spread with butter if desired.
