This delicious cheese and ham pie features a crispy crust and a flavorful filling, perfect for both everyday meals and special occasions.

Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 150 g butter or margarine
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 dl water
- Filling:
- 150 g smoked ham
- 150 g cheese (such as Emmental or mozzarella)
- 1 dl cream
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter or margarine and let it cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and baking powder together.
3. Add the melted butter or margarine and water to the flour mixture. Stir until a smooth dough forms.
4. Press the dough into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
5. Cut the smoked ham and cheese into small pieces.
6. In another bowl, combine the cream, eggs, salt, and pepper. Add the ham and cheese to this mixture.
7. Pour the filling over the dough in the pie dish.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow to cool for a moment before serving.
