- 0.5 cup onion, chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (225°C).
2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
3. Add the margarine and crumble it into the flour mixture until it resembles fine crumbs.
4. Stir in the egg and buttermilk, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
5. Fold in the grated cheese and chopped onion, ensuring they are evenly incorporated.
6. Shape the dough into about 12 small breads and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
