Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (such as penne or fusilli) - 400 g chicken strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add the crushed garlic and chicken strips. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
4. Pour the cream into the chicken mixture and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce. Add the grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
