A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it is golden and fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet, adding a bit of the reserved pasta water to help coat the noodles.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well to combine all the flavors.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
