Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and soft.
3. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips and add them to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is done and golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Pour the cream over the chicken and mix well. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss thoroughly to coat the pasta in the sauce.
6. Serve the dish garnished with fresh basil.
