A delightful recipe that combines sweet honey pasha with refreshing passionfruit vanilla soup. Perfect for dessert at parties or special occasions. Preparation Time: 1 hour + chilling
Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 60 g unsalted butter- 3 egg whites
- 60 g passionfruit puree (about 1 dl)
- 5 tablespoons honey
- 125 g butter
- 150 g sour cream (40% fat)
- 2 tubs of quark
- 4 gelatin sheets
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 passion fruits
- all-purpose flour (if needed)
- 2 dl pineapple juice
- 1 dl sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- vanilla bean (optional)
Instructions:
1. Melt the unsalted butter and mix in the honey and passionfruit puree. Stir well.2. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the mixture.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter-honey mixture with sour cream and quark. Mix until smooth.
4. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes, squeeze out excess water, and dissolve them in pineapple juice. Quickly mix the gelatin into the pineapple juice.
5. Add the gelatin-pineapple mixture to the pasha mixture and stir carefully.
6. Pour the mixture into a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
7. Prepare the passionfruit vanilla soup: scoop out the contents of the passion fruits and strain to remove the seeds. Add the vanilla bean pulp and sugar. Heat the soup gently, but do not boil.
8. Serve the honey pasha with the passionfruit vanilla soup.
