Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked beans (e.g., black beans or chickpeas)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the cooked beans in a bowl using a fork or potato masher.
2. Add the chopped onions, grated carrots, chopped bell peppers, breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the mashed beans. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into patties.
4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
5. Serve the patties warm, paired with salad or bread.
