A rich and flavorful meat stew, perfect for cold winter evenings. It combines delicious meat, fresh vegetables, and aromatic spices into a satisfying dish.

Ingredients:
- 700 g beef stew meat
- 2 large onions
- 1 medium leek
- 200 g mixed root vegetables (frozen)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 5 allspice berries
- 2 rawit chilies
- 3 tomatoes
- 200 ml red wine
- 100 ml cooking cream
- 3 vegetable stock cubes
- Olive oil
- Water
Instructions:
1. Take the meat out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature.
2. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
3. Chop the onions, leek, and tomatoes into small pieces.
4. Heat olive oil in a large pot and brown the meat on all sides.
5. Add the onions, leek, and garlic, then pour in the red wine. Let it simmer for a moment.
6. Add the vegetable stock cubes, mixed root vegetables, basil, black pepper, allspice, and chilies.
7. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients. Cover and let it simmer in the oven for about 1.5 hours.
8. Finally, add the cream and tomatoes, mix well, and let it simmer for another 15 minutes.
9. Serve warm with potatoes or bread.
