This delicious and hearty pasta dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner. Chicken, cream, and spices combine into one flavorful meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Cut the chicken fillets into strips.
4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add the onion. Sauté until soft.
5. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook until they're done.
6. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.
7. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
8. Grate the Parmesan cheese and stir it into the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
9. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
10. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh parsley and enjoy!
