A quick and delicious weeknight meal that the whole family will love. Preparation time is about 30 minutes, and this recipe serves 4.Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft.
4. Add the crushed garlic and chicken strips. Cook until the chicken is done and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream over the chicken and mix well. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and combine all ingredients well. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
7. Serve immediately with fresh basil on top.
