Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 250 g fresh mozzarella
- 1 small red onion
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Rinse the tomatoes and slice them into rounds.
2. Slice the mozzarella into rounds as well.
3. Peel and thinly slice the red onion into rings.
4. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately on a serving platter.
5. Add the red onion rings to the salad.
6. Sprinkle fresh basil on top.
7. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar, seasoning with salt and pepper.
8. Drizzle the dressing over the salad before serving.
