Ingredients
Pike Patties: - 500 g pike fillet
- 1 dl cream
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ dl breadcrumbs
- A handful of dill
- White pepper
- Salt
For the Burger:
- Rye bread (round, slightly flattened)
- Generous amount of sliced and sautéed fennel
- Sliced and sautéed red onion
- Mayonnaise (mix in a bit of chili paste)
- Mustard
- Pickles
- Tomato
- Lettuce
- Yogurt (mix in chopped dill and a bit of sugar)
Instructions
1. Prepare the pike patties: finely chop the pike fillet in a food processor. Mix in the cream, egg, lemon juice, breadcrumbs, dill, white pepper, and salt. Cook a test patty and adjust the seasoning if necessary. 2. Shape the mixture into patties and fry them in plenty of butter over medium heat until beautifully colored on both sides.
3. Prepare the burger toppings: sauté the fennel and red onion.
4. Assemble the burgers: spread mustard on the bottom of the rye bread, add the pike patty, sautéed fennel, red onion, mayonnaise, pickles, tomato, lettuce, and yogurt.
5. Serve the burgers immediately.
