A delicious burger featuring Estonian flavors, perfect for a weekend treat. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 burgers
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef - 4 burger buns
- 100 g Estonian cheese (e.g., juustoleib)
- 1 dl mayonnaise
- 1 dl sour cream
- 1 dl pickles, chopped
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg or arugula)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Shape the ground beef into four patties and season with salt and pepper. 2. Cook the patties in a hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
3. Meanwhile, lightly toast the burger buns.
4. Assemble the burgers: spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, place the patty on top, add Estonian cheese, sour cream, pickles, red onion, tomato slices, and lettuce.
5. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
