Hauki and Shrimp Patties with Creamy Mashed Potatoes

A delightful recipe combining fresh pike and shrimp served with a rich, creamy mashed potato side. Perfect for dinner or special occasions. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g pike fillets - 200 g shrimp (peeled)
- 1 egg
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 500 g potatoes
- 50 ml milk
- 30 g butter
Instructions:
1. Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water until soft. Drain and mash them. 2. Add milk and butter to the mashed potatoes, mix well, and season with salt.
3. Finely chop the pike fillets and shrimp, then combine in a bowl with the onion, egg, breadcrumbs, and dill. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Shape the fish mixture into patties and fry them in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
5. Serve the pike and shrimp patties warm with the creamy mashed potatoes.
