Serving Size: 8-10 buns
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g salt
- 7 g dry yeast
- 30 g sugar
- 300 ml warm water
- 50 g melted butter
- 1 egg (for topping)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, dry yeast, and sugar.
2. Pour in the warm water and melted butter, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
5. Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface and divide it into 8-10 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a round bun.
6. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
7. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
8. Brush the buns with the beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
9. Bake the buns in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
10. Allow to cool before filling with your favorite burger ingredients. Enjoy!
